Loring E. Justice is a native of Morgan County, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science in 1995. Mr. Justice maintained a 4.0 Grade Point Average, and received the award as the Top Graduate in the College of Arts and Sciences. In 1998, Mr. Justice received his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.
After receiving his J.D., Loring served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gilbert S. Merritt on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Nashville, Tennessee. In January of 2000, he then established Loring E. Justice, PLLC. Since he first entered private practice, Mr, Justice has handled cases in the areas of Worker's Compensation, Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect, and other Civil Litigation. Mr. Justice has also represented professionals with respect to Long Term and Short Term Disability issues. In all of these practice areas, Mr. Justice has spent substantial time on the intersection of medicine and the law.
In addition to his legal work, Mr. Justice serves on the Council of Advisors of The Gerson Lehrman Group, an investment consulting company based in New York, New York. Mr. Justice frequently lectures on legal issues. In recent years he has given lecture series in New York, London, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington and Boston.
